Degumming Section

Acid Dosing System

Accurately doses phosphoric or citric acid into crude oil for hydration of gums and better separation efficiency.

Mixing Vessel / Conditioner

Specially designed tank with agitator to ensure uniform mixing of oil with acid/water under controlled conditions.

High-Speed Separator (Centrifuge)

A disc-type centrifuge that separates hydrated gums, phospholipids, and other impurities from crude oil with high efficiency.

Neutralization Section

Neutralizer Vessel / Reactor

Provides controlled mixing of oil with caustic soda solution to neutralize free fatty acids.

Mixer-Settler

Ensures proper contact between alkali and oil; soap stock settles at the bottom for easy removal.

Neutralizing Separator (Centrifuge)

Rapid separation of soap stock and wash water from oil, ensuring minimum oil losses.

Bleaching Section

Bleaching Reactor

A vacuum-operated vessel where oil is mixed with bleaching earth/activated carbon. Provides uniform adsorption of color pigments, soaps, and peroxides.

Bleaching Earth Dosing System

Pneumatic or screw feeder system ensures accurate and dust-free dosing of bleaching earth into the reactor.

Pressure Leaf Filter / Hermetic Filter

Removes spent bleaching earth and impurities to deliver clear, clean oil for further processing.

Dewaxing / Winterization Section (for waxy oils like Sunflower, Rice Bran, Corn, etc.)

Crystallizer / Cooling Vessel

Oil is chilled under controlled conditions to crystallize waxes. Maintains precise cooling curves for maximum separation.

Chilling Plant / Plate Heat Exchanger

Provides uniform and energy-efficient cooling of oil for crystallization.

Filter Press / Membrane Filter

Separates crystallized waxes from oil, ensuring crystal-clear winterized oil.

Deodorization Section

Deodorizer Tower (Packed / Tray Type)

A stainless-steel column where oil is treated with high-temperature steam under vacuum to remove odor, flavor, and FFA.

Stripping Steam Generator

Produces clean, dry steam for stripping volatile impurities during deodorization.

Heat Recovery System (Economizer)

Recovers heat from deodorized oil to preheat incoming oil, ensuring energy savings.

Vacuum System

Multi-stage steam ejectors or vacuum pumps maintain deep vacuum during deodorization for efficient removal of volatiles.

Fractionation Section (for Palm Oil and Specialty Fats)

Crystallizer / Cooling System

Cools palm oil under controlled conditions to form crystals of stearin (solid fraction).

Membrane Filter Press

Separates liquid olein and solid stearin fractions with high efficiency.

Neutralizing Separator (Centrifuge)

Rapid separation of soap stock and wash water from oil, ensuring minimum oil losses.
